As of April 2025 Zoria the Cat is in the final stages of pre-production for the proof of concept short movie.

As of 1 January, 2025 we are well into running a crowd funding campaign for an independent film project codenamed "Zoria the Cat".

Our project is a sci-fi rom-com remiscent of an old alien buddy nostalgia while not shying away from new techniques and controversial tools. Taking place in the near present world an anthrapomorphic alien makes earth his new residence. Zoria comes to see earth as his abode when she finds a couple who loves his antics. The loving couple unknowingly thwarting every mission objective and project along the way for our titular alien. Zoria gives up galactic level intrigue when she realizes she has found a family and a personal home. We are excited to share more details with you soon. In late 2024 we began early film concept development with a new crowd funding campaign for an independent film project codenamed "Zoria".

Searching for a little nostalgia and reminiscing about how to give an older story concept new life we started to think about how to connect with timeless elements. With the help from collaborators and generative AI tools "Zoria" was born. Some of those concept elements that came together from a place of lived experience were "new love", "pet adoption", "family", "starting over", "foreign" etc.
